Two days of public talks by Adam Szymczyk and special screenings March 4 and 5 at 6 pm.

Addressing the present urban condition and reality of the built environment, contemporary artists mine the promises and conflicted legacy of the mythos of modernist architecture, its promises and conflicted legacy.

ADAM SZYMCZYK is a curator and writer born in 1970 in Poland. In 1997, he was one of the founding members of the Foksal Gallery Foundation (FGF) in Warsaw. In 2003, he was appointed Director and Chief Curator of the Kunsthalle Basel and, in 2008, he co-curated with Elena Filipovic the 5th Berlin Biennial, entitled "When Things Cast No Shadow."
